Formal Procedure of Application for FEPTO Membership
PRESENTATION IN THE ANNUAL MEETING. To become a member of FEPTO, a representative of the interested Organization must attend one FEPTO Annual Meeting (yearly held usually in spring) prior to the application in order to encounter FEPTO existing members, make an introduction and start to the application. In the following meeting the representative makes a presentation of the Organization in English. After the presentation the representative answers the questions raised by the members of FEPTO. Then the voting procedure takes place during the general Assembly.

APPLICATION FORM. The formal application form along with other formal requirements should be sent to the Chair of the Membership Committee by the latest the end of September prior to the voting. The Application Forms are found in the website of FEPTO. The forms should be completed in English. More > Formal procedures for application
COPIES OF CERTIFICATES The photocopies of PD certificates of main trainers should be sent to the Chair of the Membership Committee by e-mail or regular post.
RECOMMENDATION LETTERS. The application should include two written recommendations from existing good standing FEPTO members. These letters should describe the Organization (the qualitative and quantitative aspects of the training, the background of the Organization, the impressions of the recommender etc.) Preferably, one of the recommending members should take a mentorship role from the start until voting and even after the voting if the organization was not accepted in voting. If the applicant is unable to submit the two recommendations, a member of FEPTO from the Membership Committee or from a neighboring country will take responsibility to get to know the applicant. This may involve a visit to the institute. The cost of such a visit would be carried by the applicant. The visitor should be approved by the Council of FEPTO. The signed recommendation letters should also be sent to the Chair of the Membership Committee by e-mail or regular post.

ACCEPTANCE OF MINIMAL TRAINING STANDARDS. If not in concordance, the applying organization should be willing to meet the FEPTO Minimal Training Standards (MTS) within 3 years after being accepted as a member. The start of the application of MTS should be in one year for the new starting trainees and be applied in 3 years for the graduating psychodramatists. The applicant will get help and support to meet the standards.

APPLICATION FEE The applying organization should pay the application fee. This is 200 Euro in general for 2007- 2008. For this, the applying organization should get in touch with the treasurer of FEPTO.
